Venture Fund
The Venture Fund provides capacity funding to support the organisations and strategic projects in our portfolio. Amounts contributed to the Venture Fund are allocated as follows:
 80 per cent is channelled directly to ventures and strategic projects. SVA decides which ventures receive the funding based on their current needs and activities. However, if you make a donation to the Venture Fund and have an interest in a particular venture or focus area within the portfolio, you can request that your funding be applied to those.
The remaining 20 per cent covers the capacity building services SVA provides, including assistance with strategic planning, financial sustainability, measurement and performance evaluation.
The following chart shows the amount that was donated to the Venture Fund over each of the last five years. The amounts shown do not include the 20 per cent payment to SVA.
